Review every incoming order automatically. Build your rules once with simple AND/OR logic, and the app tags, cancels, or holds matching orders the moment they are created — no manual order screening.
Order Validation & Automation connects to your Shopify store and listens for new orders. Each order is checked in real time against the rules you define — from simple checks like unusually high totals to duplicate detection that compares the new order with the customer's previous orders. When a rule matches, the app runs your chosen actions in order and logs everything on a built-in diagnostics page.
Instead of someone watching the order list all day, your rules run automatically on every new order, around the clock.
Compare each new order against the customer's recent orders — last 1, 2, or 5 orders, or all orders from recent days — and flag or hold likely duplicates.
Chain actions per rule: tag first, then cancel or hold. Already-cancelled orders are never re-cancelled, and quota limits never block your orders.
Install the app and create rules with the visual builder — pick order fields, operators, and AND/OR logic. No coding required.
Choose what each rule compares against: a custom value, or the same field on the customer's previous orders for duplicate detection.
Add one or more actions per rule: add tags, cancel the order, or place fulfillment on hold.
When a new order is created, the app evaluates your active rules instantly and logs the full result in the Diagnostics page.
All paid plans include a 5-day free trial. Plans are billed securely through Shopify's billing system on a 30-day cycle. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from inside the app. If a store reaches its monthly quota, the app safely skips actions until the cycle resets — orders are never blocked or lost.
Order total and subtotal, customer email and phone, shipping and billing address or country, products, SKUs and vendors, discount codes, order tags and notes, payment gateway, shipping method, financial status, PO number, and more.
A rule can compare the new order against the customer's previous orders instead of a fixed value — for example, flag the order if the same email ordered the same product to the same address today. Comparison windows include the last 1, 2, or 5 orders, or orders from the current or recent days.
Nothing breaks. The app keeps logging incoming orders but safely skips rule actions until the billing cycle resets or you upgrade. Your orders are never blocked, delayed, or lost.
All charges go through Shopify's own billing system and appear on your regular Shopify invoice. You can switch plans or downgrade to the free plan at any time from the app's Billing page — no support ticket needed.
